The location, Tenerife, and the good results of our clients.

When we saw that everybody was happy with their stay here. We knew that we could use those testimonials and that people would spread the word about our courses.

What is your biggest differentiator?
Teaching Online Marketing offline, long term and super intensive (the whole day), which includes a lot of supervised practical training. Our clients REALLY learn HOW TO apply the theory to the practice.

Hiring and firing people in order to find really good staff.
What is your daily routine?
I get up at 6 or 6:30 and start working in my home office on a task that needs all my concentration. I have breakfast at 8 and go on working on tough tasks until 1 p.m. Then I drive to the office and have meetings, answer emails and do “things” that don't need such a high energy level.
What is the best place to eat in your city?
There is this small garage restaurant that you will never find on your own. Just come to Tenerife and I will show you.

I love poker, but offline. Reading is also one of my favorite activities, which I do at least two hours a day. Hiking on the weekends is a must.

What is your favorite place to visit?
What business would you love for someone else to start?

What are your favorite startups near you?
There aren’t any I know of around here.
Do you have any co-founders? What do they focus on and what do you focus on?
Just one passive investor.
What position did you hire first? Was it the right decision?
Pablo, our senior online marketing manager. Yes, he is still working at SEOintheSUN.
How did you decide on the name for your business?
All my name ideas start with the sun, because that’s what I value most in my life: the subtropical climate here in Tenerife, which is called “Island of the Eternal Spring”. Because a good part of our topics are about SEO, SEOintheSUN was the most catchiest name I could choose.
What advice do you have for new founders?
Find the tasks that count most and concentrate on getting them done. Don’t waste your time on unimportant stuff.
